A delicious and easy-to-make bread inspired by Amish apple fritters, prepared using an air fryer for a crispy exterior and soft interior.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups diced apples
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in diced apples.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan that fits your air fryer.
- Air fry for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith for best texture.
- Check bread halfway through cooking to prevent over-browning.
