Description
Crispy avocado fries made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic snack.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Cut avocados into slices.
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and water in another bowl.
- Dip avocado slices in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place coated avocado slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use firm but ripe avocados for best results.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- For extra crispiness, spray avocado slices lightly with oil before air frying.
