Crispy avocado fries made in an air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water


Instructions

  1. Cut avocados into slices.
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Whisk egg and water in another bowl.
  4. Dip avocado slices in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place coated avocado slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use firm but ripe avocados for best results.
