Description
A quick and healthy grilled cheese sandwich made in an air fryer with creamy avocado, fresh mozzarella, and juicy tomatoes.
Ingredients
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 2 slices fresh mozzarella
- 2 slices tomato
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Brush one side of each bread slice with olive oil.
- Layer avocado, mozzarella, and tomato on the un-oiled side of one bread slice.
- Top with the second bread slice, oiled side up.
- Place sandwich in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5 minutes, flip, then cook for another 3 minutes.
- Remove when bread is golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
- Use ripe avocado for best texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
