Description

A quick and healthy grilled cheese sandwich made in an air fryer with creamy avocado, fresh mozzarella, and juicy tomatoes.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 slices fresh mozzarella
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt and pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush one side of each bread slice with olive oil.
  3. Layer avocado, mozzarella, and tomato on the un-oiled side of one bread slice.
  4. Top with the second bread slice, oiled side up.
  5. Place sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes, flip, then cook for another 3 minutes.
  7. Remove when bread is golden and cheese is melted.
