Description
Crispy shrimp tacos with a spicy bang bang sauce, made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip shrimp in flour mixture, then eggs, then panko breadcrumbs.
- Place shrimp in air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice to make the bang bang sauce.
- Warm tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
- Assemble tacos: layer shrimp, shredded cabbage, cilantro, and drizzle with bang bang sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray shrimp with oil before air frying.
- Adjust sriracha to control spice level.
- Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
