Description

Crispy and flavorful chimichangas made with beef and beans, cooked to perfection in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing)


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and refried beans. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Spread the beef and bean mixture onto tortillas. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  4. Fold the tortillas tightly into burrito shapes.
  5. Brush each chimichanga lightly with vegetable oil.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place chimichangas in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
