Crispy breaded chicken breast cooked in an air fryer for a healthier option.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Beat egg in a separate bowl.
- Coat chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place chicken in air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip halfway through.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Spray chicken with oil for better browning.
