Description
Crispy mac-and-cheese sticks coated with buffalo sauce, made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Mix macaroni, cheese, and buffalo sauce in a bowl.
- Shape into sticks and freeze for 15 minutes.
- Dip each stick in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place sticks in air fryer basket, spray lightly with oil.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve with extra buffalo sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Use day-old macaroni for better texture.
- Adjust buffalo sauce for desired spiciness.
- Flip sticks halfway for even cooking.
