Description
A quick and easy air fryer grilled cheese with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil for a caprese twist.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 2-3 tomato slices
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C) for 3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Layer mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on the bread.
- Top with the second bread slice, buttered side up.
- Air fry for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Use thick-sliced bread for better texture.
- Add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
- Adjust cooking time if your air fryer runs hot.
