Description
Crispy and flavorful homemade chicken tenders cooked in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep-fried versions.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs with water.
- Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the coated tenders in the air fryer in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated tenders with olive oil before air frying.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
