Crispy and flavorful homemade chicken tenders cooked in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep-fried versions.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs with water.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  6. Place the coated tenders in the air fryer in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated tenders with olive oil before air frying.
