Description
Crispy and flavorful Asian-style chili garlic wings made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chili paste
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken wings with a paper towel.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes until crispy.
- In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, chili paste, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
- Toss the cooked wings in the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, pat the wings dry before cooking.
- Adjust chili paste to your preferred spice level.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
