Crispy and flavorful Asian-style chili garlic wings made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chili paste
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, chopped


Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken wings with a paper towel.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10 minutes until crispy.
  5. In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, chili paste, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
  7. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
