Description
A spicy and creamy chicken ramen dish, perfect for a festive Christmas meal, made easily in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (seasoning discarded)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, chili flakes, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until fully cooked.
- While the chicken cooks, prepare the ramen noodles according to package instructions, using chicken broth instead of water.
- In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Slice the cooked chicken.
- Divide the cooked ramen into bowls. Top with sliced chicken, drizzle with creamy garlic sauce, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust chili flakes to control the spiciness.
- Use coconut milk instead of heavy cream for a dairy-free option.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
