Description
A refreshing herbal detox soup made with green tea, perfect for a healthy Christmas meal using your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups green tea (brewed and cooled)
- 1 cup spinach (chopped)
- 1/2 cup celery (diced)
- 1/2 cup carrots (sliced)
- 1/4 cup ginger (minced)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, ginger, garlic, turmeric, black pepper, and salt.
- Toss spinach, celery, and carrots in the mixture until coated.
- Place the vegetables in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Transfer the cooked vegetables to a pot and add brewed green tea.
- Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and honey.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
- Use fresh green tea for best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
