Description
Crispy, golden churro sticks made easily in your air fryer. Perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour and vanilla extract until a dough forms.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe 4-inch sticks onto parchment paper.
- Place sticks in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll warm churros in the mixture to coat.
- Serve immediately.

- Use a sturdy piping bag to avoid bursts.

- For extra crispiness, spray churros lightly with oil before cooking.
