Description
Crispy and savory beef wontons made easily in an air fryer for a healthier twist on this classic appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 20 wonton wrappers
- Water (for sealing wontons)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, green onions, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold into a triangle, pressing to seal.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray wontons with cooking oil.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Ensure wontons are sealed tightly to prevent filling from leaking.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer—cook in batches if needed.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before air frying.
