Description
Crispy dumplings made in an air fryer for a healthier twist. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 1/2 cup ground chicken or pork
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp water (for sealing)
- Oil spray (for air frying)
Instructions
- Mix ground meat, cabbage, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Dampen the edges of the wrapper with water and fold into a triangle, pressing to seal.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the dumplings with oil and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Use a meat thermometer to check if the filling reaches 165°F (74°C).
