Crispy fries with a sweet and savory miso caramel glaze, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the potato fries with olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Air fry the fries for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
  4. In a small saucepan, mix miso paste, brown sugar, soy sauce, and water. Cook over low heat until thickened.
  5. Toss the cooked fries with the miso caramel glaze.
  6. Serve immediately.
