Crispy and delicious Czech-style potato pancakes made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine grated potatoes, onion, egg, flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small nuggets or patties.
- Lightly brush the nuggets with vegetable oil.
- Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Squeeze excess moisture from the grated potatoes for crispier nuggets.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with cooking oil before air frying.
