Description
Make crispy chicken tenders in your air fryer with minimal oil and maximum flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Mix breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 5 minutes or until golden.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Check thick tenders for doneness with a meat thermometer (165°F).
- For spicier tenders, add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mix.
