Description
Crispy, golden bites made with an air fryer for a healthier twist on deep-fried favorites.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 lb chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk.
- Dip chicken pieces in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then breadcrumbs.
- Place coated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook another 5 minutes.
- Remove and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on chicken thickness.
