Description

A quick and easy way to make crispy vegetable samosas using an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and oil in a bowl. Gradually add water to form a stiff dough.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté for a few seconds.
  4. Add peas, mashed potatoes, turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Let the filling cool.
  6. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle.
  7. Cut each circle in half and form a cone shape. Fill with the potato mixture and seal the edges.
  8. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  9. Place samosas in the air fryer basket and lightly brush with oil.
  10. Air fry for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • Keep the dough covered to prevent drying.
  • Adjust spices according to taste.
  • Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
