Description

A creamy and indulgent five-cheese mac & cheese made easily in your air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Add cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, parmesan, and cream cheese. Stir until melted.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  6. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
  7. Transfer mixture to an air fryer-safe dish.
  8. Air fry at 350°F for 10-12 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
