Description
Easy-to-make burritos prepped in advance and cooked in an air fryer for a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken, shredded (optional)
- 1 tsp taco seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Lay out a tortilla on a flat surface.
- Spread a layer of rice, beans, cheese, tomatoes, onions, and chicken (if using) evenly on the tortilla.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning, salt, and pepper over the filling.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll it tightly into a burrito.
- Brush the outside of the burrito lightly with olive oil.
- Repeat for the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
- Place burritos in the air fryer basket, seam side down.
- Cook at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with salsa or sour cream.
Notes
- Wrap burritos individually in foil or parchment before freezing for later use.
- Thaw frozen burritos before air frying, or add 2-3 extra minutes to cooking time.
- Customize fillings with your favorite ingredients.
