Description
A spicy sandwich made with ghost pepper for extreme heat lovers, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy texture.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 ghost pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/4 cup cooked chicken or beef (optional)
- 1 tsp hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Layer with cheese, ghost pepper, meat (if using), and hot sauce.
- Top with the second bread slice, buttered side up.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Wear gloves when handling ghost peppers.
- Adjust heat level by reducing ghost pepper quantity.
- Serve with a cooling dip like yogurt or ranch.
