Description

A quick and easy salad featuring crispy air-fried halloumi cheese, fresh greens, and a light dressing.


Ingredients

  • 200g halloumi cheese, sliced
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Toss halloumi slices with 1 tbsp olive oil and oregano.
  3. Air fry halloumi for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a bowl, combine salad greens, cucumber, tomatoes, and red onion.
  5. Whisk remaining olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for the dressing.
  6. Toss salad with dressing and top with crispy halloumi.
  7. Serve immediately.

  • Pat halloumi dry before air frying for a crispier texture.
