Description
Quick and easy high-protein cheese stick bites made in the air fryer. Perfect for a snack or appetizer with 15g of protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the egg and mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the cheese stick bites in the air fryer, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use full-fat cottage cheese for a creamier texture.
- For extra crispiness, spray the bites lightly with oil before air frying.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
