Description
Crispy homemade fries with a smoky maple bacon twist, cooked perfectly in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 4 strips smoked bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Toss the potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Place fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking halfway.
- In a small bowl, mix cooked bacon with maple syrup.
- Remove fries from the air fryer, top with the maple bacon mixture, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use thick-cut bacon for better texture.
