Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs, cut into individual pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.
- Coat the pork ribs evenly with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for better flavor).
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 15 minutes, then flip the ribs and cook for another 10-12 minutes until crispy and caramelized.
- Brush with extra glaze halfway through cooking if desired.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, marinate the ribs overnight.
- Adjust cooking time based on rib thickness.
- Use foil or parchment paper for easier cleanup.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer (internal temp should be 145°F/63°C).
