Description
A crispy and cheesy air fryer grilled cheese sandwich with classic margherita flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2-3 slices of fresh tomato
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Layer mozzarella, tomato slices, basil, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Top with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip carefully and cook 2-3 minutes more.
- Remove, let cool 1 minute, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Use thick-cut bread for best results.
- Adjust cooking time for darker or lighter toast.
- Add a sprinkle of parmesan for extra flavor.
