Description

Juicy beef and herb meatballs cooked in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef (min. 20% fat)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp milk


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients until just combined.
  2. Shape into 2-inch meatballs (makes about 20).
  3. Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.
  4. Arrange meatballs in single layer in air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
  6. Check internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  7. Rest 2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix to keep meatballs tender.
  • For crispier results, spray lightly with oil.
  • Freeze uncooked meatballs for later use.
