Description
Juicy beef and herb meatballs cooked in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior.
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef (min. 20% fat)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients until just combined.
- Shape into 2-inch meatballs (makes about 20).
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange meatballs in single layer in air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
- Check internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
- Rest 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Don’t overmix to keep meatballs tender.
- For crispier results, spray lightly with oil.
- Freeze uncooked meatballs for later use.
