Description
A quick and healthy dish featuring tender chicken skewers with Mediterranean flavors, served with creamy hummus.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup hummus
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the marinade and coat evenly. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- Place skewers in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve warm with hummus spread on the side.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For extra flavor, add chopped parsley or a drizzle of tahini.
