Description

Easy homemade naan bread made in an air fryer. Soft, fluffy, and perfect for pairing with curries or dips.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 clove garlic (minced, optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped, optional)


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt and warm water, knead into a soft dough.
  3. Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide dough into 6 equal balls.
  5. Roll each ball into a flat oval shape.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Place one naan in the air fryer basket, cook for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  8. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle garlic or cilantro if desired.
  9. Repeat for remaining dough.

Notes

  • Adjust thickness for softer or crispier naan.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
