Description
Easy homemade naan bread made in an air fryer. Soft, fluffy, and perfect for pairing with curries or dips.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 clove garlic (minced, optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped, optional)
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Add yogurt and warm water, knead into a soft dough.
- Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide dough into 6 equal balls.
- Roll each ball into a flat oval shape.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place one naan in the air fryer basket, cook for 3-4 minutes until golden.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle garlic or cilantro if desired.
- Repeat for remaining dough.
Notes
- Adjust thickness for softer or crispier naan.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
