Description
Make soft and fluffy naan bread at home using your air fryer. This Indian flatbread is perfect for pairing with curries or enjoying on its own.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
Instructions
- Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Add yogurt, melted butter, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
- Knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 6 equal parts and roll into oval shapes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place one naan in the air fryer basket and cook for 3-4 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Brush with butter and serve warm.
Notes
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for best results.
