Description
Crispy tofu nugget sticks made in an air fryer without oil, perfect for a healthy snack or meal.
Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup plant-based milk
Instructions
- Press tofu for 30 minutes to remove excess water.
- Cut tofu into sticks.
- Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip tofu sticks in plant-based milk, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place tofu sticks in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with water before cooking.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
