Description
Crispy orange tofu bites made in an air fryer for a quick and healthy snack.
Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix orange juice, soy sauce, maple syrup, and ginger in a bowl.
- Toss tofu sticks in cornstarch, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Place tofu in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Brush cooked tofu with the orange sauce mixture.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
- Adjust sauce sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
