Description

Crispy and flavorful chicken sticks brined in pickle juice for extra tanginess, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken tenders in pickle juice for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg and water.
  4. Dip each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place chicken sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking oil.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
