Description
A crispy and flavorful pork leg joint with perfect crackling, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork leg joint (skin scored)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Pat the pork leg joint dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder all over the pork.
- Place the pork in the air fryer basket, skin side up.
- Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 25 minutes.
- Reduce temperature to 180°C (350°F) and cook for another 30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Score the skin deeply for better crackling.
- Dry the skin thoroughly before seasoning.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the joint.
