Description
Crispy potato straw-thin fries made in an air fryer for a healthier snack.
Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes.
- Cut them into thin straw-like strips.
- Soak the strips in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Place the potato strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crispiness, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
