A quick and delicious breakfast or dessert featuring French toast stuffed with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, made easy with an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick bread (brioche or Texas toast)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Butter or cooking spray for greasing
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and diced strawberries in a bowl.
- Spread the mixture on two slices of bread and top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches.
- Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease the basket.
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer and cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with extra strawberries or syrup if desired.
Notes
- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture.
