Description

Quick and crispy wontons made in an air fryer for a healthier snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup ground pork or chicken
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp water (for sealing wontons)


Instructions

  1. Mix ground meat, cabbage, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Lightly spray with oil.
  8. Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
