Description
Quick and crispy wontons made in an air fryer for a healthier snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 20 wonton wrappers
- 1/2 cup ground pork or chicken
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp water (for sealing wontons)
Instructions
- Mix ground meat, cabbage, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle and press edges to seal.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Lightly spray with oil.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Use a meat substitute for a vegetarian version.
