Description
Make a crispy and juicy whole chicken in your air fryer with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (3-4 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and thyme. Sprinkle evenly over the chicken.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F for 5 minutes.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
- Cook for 30 minutes.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Check the chicken halfway through cooking to prevent burning.
- Use a meat thermometer for accurate doneness.
