Description
A hearty and flavorful soup made with white beans and crispy bacon, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried white beans, soaked overnight
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook bacon in the air fryer basket for 5 minutes or until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to the air fryer basket and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add soaked beans, chicken broth, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to the basket.
- Cook at 360°F (180°C) for 25 minutes, stirring halfway.
- Remove the bay leaf, then blend half the soup for a creamy texture.
- Stir in the crispy bacon before serving.
Notes
- Soak beans overnight for best texture.
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of cream before serving.
