Description
A simple and healthy way to prepare sea cucumber using an air fryer. This Chinese delicacy is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Ingredients
- 200g dried sea cucumber (soaked and cleaned)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Pat the soaked sea cucumber dry with a paper towel.
- Cut the sea cucumber into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper.
- Coat the sea cucumber pieces with the mixture.
- Sprinkle cornstarch evenly over the sea cucumber.
- Place the coated sea cucumber in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Soak dried sea cucumber for at least 24 hours before cooking.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
