A crispy and delicious grilled cheese sandwich made with sourdough bread and cooked in an air fryer for a quick and easy meal.
Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Place one slice, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer, let cool slightly, and serve.
Notes
- Use room-temperature butter for easy spreading.
- Experiment with different cheeses for variety.
- For extra crispiness, lightly toast the bread before assembling.
