Description
Crispy air-fried pickle sticks with a spicy kick. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dill pickle spears, sliced into sticks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat pickle sticks dry with paper towels.
- Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and water in another bowl.
- Place panko in a third bowl.
- Coat pickle sticks in flour mixture, then dip in egg, then roll in panko.
- Lightly spray with cooking oil.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, flip halfway through cooking.
- Adjust cayenne pepper to control spiciness.
- Best eaten fresh from the air fryer.
