Description

Crispy spicy pickle chips made in the air fryer for a quick and delicious snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dill pickle chips (sliced pickles, not chips)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Drain pickle chips and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Whisk the egg in another bowl.
  4. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. Coat each pickle chip in the flour mixture, dip in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Place coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Use thick-cut pickle slices for better texture.
