Description
Crispy spicy pickle chips made in the air fryer for a quick and delicious snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup dill pickle chips (sliced pickles, not chips)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Drain pickle chips and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Whisk the egg in another bowl.
- Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each pickle chip in the flour mixture, dip in the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use thick-cut pickle slices for better texture.
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- Best eaten fresh for maximum crispiness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer.
