Description
Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and cheese, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- In a bowl, mix spinach, mozzarella, cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach-cheese mixture.
- Brush the outside with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use toothpicks to secure the opening if needed.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
- Substitute mozzarella with feta or cheddar if preferred.
