Description
A quick and delicious air fryer sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil.
Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto
- 4 slices fresh mozzarella
- 4-5 fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Spread sun-dried tomato pesto on one slice of bread.
- Layer mozzarella and basil leaves on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Cover with the second slice of bread.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Remove when cheese is melted and bread is crispy.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for best texture.
- Adjust cooking time for preferred crispiness.
- Substitute pesto with regular sun-dried tomatoes if needed.
