Description
A quick and easy sandwich prep for your Sunday meal planning using an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 4 slices of turkey breast
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on two slices of bread.
- Layer turkey, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on the bread.
- Top with the remaining bread slices.
- Brush the outer sides of the sandwiches lightly with olive oil.
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove, let cool slightly, and serve or store for meal prep.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey with chicken or ham.
- For a crispier texture, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
