Description

A quick and easy sandwich prep for your Sunday meal planning using an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 4 slices of turkey breast
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on two slices of bread.
  3. Layer turkey, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on the bread.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices.
  5. Brush the outer sides of the sandwiches lightly with olive oil.
  6. Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 5 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove, let cool slightly, and serve or store for meal prep.

Notes

  • You can substitute turkey with chicken or ham.
  • For a crispier texture, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
