Description

Make crispy and flavorful tandoori chicken in your air fryer with minimal oil. This recipe delivers juicy chicken with a smoky char.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken drumsticks and thighs
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil


Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Coat chicken pieces with the marinade and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly brush chicken with oil and place in air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 10-12 minutes until charred and cooked through.
  6. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
