Description

Crispy and flavorful chicken wings coated in Thai sweet chili sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss the wings in the dry mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Lightly brush the wings with vegetable oil.
  6. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry for 12 minutes, flip halfway through.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix Thai sweet chili sauce and soy sauce.
  9. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce mixture.
  10. Return the wings to the air fryer for 2 more minutes to crisp.
  11. Serve hot with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, let the wings sit in the fridge for 30 minutes after coating.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili sauce.
  • Use fresh garlic and ginger for a stronger flavor.
