Description
Crispy and flavorful chicken wings coated in Thai sweet chili sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the wings in the dry mixture until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Lightly brush the wings with vegetable oil.
- Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12 minutes, flip halfway through.
- In a separate bowl, mix Thai sweet chili sauce and soy sauce.
- Toss the cooked wings in the sauce mixture.
- Return the wings to the air fryer for 2 more minutes to crisp.
- Serve hot with extra sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, let the wings sit in the fridge for 30 minutes after coating.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili sauce.
- Use fresh garlic and ginger for a stronger flavor.
